| Frequently Asked Questions
Why doesn't my new PuttRunner work when I put in the batteries?
Use new fully charged batteries in your PuttRunner. Be sure you have inserted the batteries properly according to the battery orientation diagram inside the battery compartment. Also check to make sure the switch is moved to the "on" or "sound" position.
The batteries in my PuttRunner are brand new, but why doesn't it work?
All batteries are not the same. Try using a different brand of battery than the one you are using (e.g. Eveready, Panasonic or others).
Why is the flipper on my new PuttRunner already extended when I open the box?
The unit may have been shipped from the factory with the flipper in the released position. Insert new batteries and move the switch to the "on" or "sound" position. This will cause the flipper to retract into position to return your putts.
The target light on my PuttRunner comes on when I turn on the switch, but why doesn't the ball return work?
Make sure the batteries are inserted properly according to the battery orientation diagram inside the battery compartment. Also, be sure the batteries are new and fully charged to operate your PuttRunner properly.
My PuttRunner returns my putt, but why don't I hear any sound effects?
PuttRunner has three switch positions, "off", "on" and "sound." The "on" position is for practicing your putting without sound effects. Be sure you move the switch to the "sound" position in order to hear one of the random sound effects when you make a successful putt.
I walked away and left my PuttRunner on for a while, but now it's not working. Why?
PuttRunner has an automatic shutoff timer to conserve battery life. So, after 15 minutes of inactivity, PuttRunner will automatically turn itself off to save the batteries. Simply switch PuttRunner "off" and then back "on" again to resume play.
Why does the target light keep flashing?
The target light flashes to let you know you need to replace the batteries in your PuttRunner unit. Once you have installed new batteries, the target light goes back to normal operation.
